Senate District 18 (Boulder)
Senator Stephen Fenberg was elected to the State Senate in November 2016. Steve believes politics shouldn’t be about winning, but about improving people’s lives and the world we live in. Senator Fenberg serves on the Senate Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Energy and the State, Veterans, and Military Affairs Committee. As a nonprofit leader, Steve has dedicated his life to fighting for the public interest.
Steve founded the nonprofit organization New Era Colorado, which, in its ten years of existence, has registered over 150,000 voters, advocated for and helped pass election modernization bills such as online voter registration, and led historic, grassroots campaigns to advance the use of clean, renewable energy.
Steve lives with his wife, Lindsay, in downtown Boulder. In addition to serving on several nonprofit boards, Steve is a partner of Bread Bar, a small bar located in the historic town of Silver Plume, Colorado.
